XP had the option to set how much of an opponent's physical or magical defense factored into an ability's effectiveness, essentially letting you create attacks that could ignore armor or magic defense. As far as I can tell, this doesn't appear to be directly possible in VX Ace, at least not with weapons. I can use the damage formula for skills to have them ignore DEF or MDF more, but this can't be done for weapons. Is there any way to get this working for weapons, or should I just make a new basic attack skill for alternative types of weapons?

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
