For those who don't know what Arum is, come here for more information.
This topic is meant to be the official submission and reference page for countries in the map. In other words, you can see where the existing countries are and settle on where you will place yours.
Information and submission guidelines [IMPORTANT! Read before posting.]
Please keep in mind:
-This is not a final version of the map. The circles just mark the general area of the locations, not the final shapes.
-What’s shown on the map may disappear or change depending on their creator (if they abandon the project or decide to change the place).
-We will only accept locations for games that are being worked on. This means we won’t accept vague ideas and people just planting flags as they please.
-If you’re not sure where to place your game, don’t panic. If you don’t have any special needs, you can just place it wherever you want, or nowhere at all for now and leave the placement for later.
-I will update the reference image and the topic info as soon as possible, so please be patient.
Submitting a new country:
-Read other countries as an example first.
-Provide a rough location in an image (just a copy of the map here with a rough circle over the area is fine).
-Provide a name for the country (it’s fine if it’s temporal).
-Provide a few details for it (cultural/geographical details, ruling methods, whatever you want to say, but don't write a wall of text).
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Please submit your countries in the following format so I don't have to cut out stuff from your longer posts.
<country name>
Creator: <developer's name>
Seen in: <game title>
Details:
-<Fact1>
-<Fact 2, 3 etc>
[Please keep the details section brief and informative]
Example:
Lalaland
Creator: I'mgreatandyurnot
Seen in: Foreverunfinished
Details:
-Ruled by monkeys
-Has special hawt males on the beaches
-Whatever else.
You CAN post a more destriptive version of the country's details (as some of you ahve done already) in the post, but I ask that you provide the simplified information for the OP yourselves so I don't have to make it up from the info you give. Please Select what detials you want displayed yourselves.

A note from Scinaya, our resident geographer, about climate:
"The climates are for reference and may not be definitive when it comes to small zones.
If you need a small area withinin a cold climate zone to have different climate from its surroundings, do not make extreme changes unless there's an explanation; such as magic or volcanic activity, etc.
Having a valley of temperate climate in middle of cold area is fine, as are arid areas in middle of tropics. On the other hand, tropical areas in the middle of a tundra or polar zone would need an explanation.
If you are unsure of what falls under which climate zone, here's few references and short explanations to give you the idea.
-Polar: short summers and long winters with snow and ice (some areas may not melt even during summer). To get the idea look for northern parts of Russia, Alaska, Greenland or landmasses north of the Nordic circle. Tundras and the like are prevalent.
-Cold: Winters with snow and ice, but mild or arid summers. Canada, most of Russia and Norh and East Europe are good examples of this climate zone. Pine forests are prevalent, but groves and fields are not rare either.
-Temperate: Summers are warm and winters mild. East and South Europe, US West Coast are great examples of the range within this zone. Groves and fields are prevalent and also Mediterranean climate falls under this zone.
-Dry: Common thing for dry areas is moderate or hot temperature, but the areas can vary from deserts to steppes and Savannah's.
-Tropical: Moist and hot areas. Brazil is probably best example."
Countries in color are final. They are from games that have been finished and as such are not part of the world.Areas in green are not countries but specially designed natural zones (such as large deserts and such).

Loria

Seen in: Chronicles of Loria

- Once the heart of a powerful Loria Empire spanning the whole peninsula, now a boiling pot - a land torn by turmoil and chaos.
- Split into many smaller countries in constant conflict
- Most countries are monarchies ruled by noble families. Most noble families can trace their origin to the times of the empire's greatness, but younger houses spring up even now.
- Magic is considered a gift of the nobility. Those who lack sufficient magic affinity to be seen as "gifted" are considered ordinary folk (even when born into an already noble house - they will be regarded like bastards and won't have any rights to the house name or heritage)
- The numerous noble houses all hone their magic skills, perfecting their styles and forming various unique magic schools this way. Some of the ways of using magic are rarely seen anywhere else outside the more unique families. The secrets of their arts are considered sacred by most families and are passed down only to its members.
