Assets i used to have are gone.... (partly solved....)

ok so i noticed when i used rpgmaker yesterday that the face i was looking for is gone but the characters body remains.....


i don't know whats going on even the files are blank....


like when you go to the characters faces iin the graphic file theres nothing in it.


if i have a custom face thats the only ones that will show.


there used to be a few squares with groups like actor1 actor2 people1 people2


could this be a result in my last computer update cause i notice weird things happening since then


also i got rpgmaker on steam, so if that could be another thing....


EDIT: ok so i found the resourses of the RTP


in another place, but the face im searching is still missing from the groups

the character looks like that boy that has blonde hair and that girl with pigtails if you imagine those together you can probably see what i mean [the girl i saw is wearing blue though

If custom resources show up with Ace but not the default ones, then your RTP gor damaged or deleted (the RTP files are stored in a different place than the project).


Either reinstall the maker, or download the independent RTP installer and run that setup.

can't re-install the maker my friend gave me the code for it,


so it will be impossible to get it again.


iEdit: i installed a rtp but cant tell if it worked i searched for it in my desktop windows start buton thing.


but nothing showed

also, if i understood what you are saying, if you had the Standalone version and just got the Steam version, then your resources could be in different spots

i found my graphics in a program called RpgMaker vx ace editor.


the RTP file had the, but the face im looking for is still lost.. i could of sworn there was a face like that girl characters body view

so it will be impossible to get it again.

You are required to own the program yourself if you're using it.


You're now being banned for pirating the software.


You can send a support ticket with proof of purchase to be unbanned after you purchase it.
