I was 14... My dad never would share his consoles and our pc was strictly no games. When I moved out I built my first pc and some time in the year that followed, I got a copy of neverwinter nights. I love that game.

I think I was about 7 or 8. My grandmother had a Sega Master system and we'd sit around her and play Alex the Kidd, Wonder Boy and other Sega games. I also remember Mum buying an atari and us playing pong on it. Later we updated to SNES. My first (real) RPG was Breath of Fire II.

My brothers had me start to play video games when I was 6 or so. We alternated between the Sega Genesis at my dad's, which we still use on occasion, and the N64 at my mom's. Good times. . .   It probably took me way too long to beat Kirby 64.

^ No, Kirby 64 is a hard game.  Not overly difficult, but Kirby hard.

I started gaming when I was...oh lord...4 or 5?  I started out with the original Nintendo Entertainment System and I had one of the first one's sold since my mother worked at an electronics store and sold them all the time.  Started with the Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt cartridge, got Tetris, Legend of Zelda...all the classics.  Good times...man I'm getting old.

EDIT:

Oh, did I forget to mention that I still have my NES?  It's not the original one I got since my cousins "borrowed" it and never returned it, but I have the second one I got after it, which was still part of the first series.  Here's a picture, with yellow casing due to sun exposure:

Might and Magic series when I was like 6ish.  I remember I use to watch my mom play games on the pc (the first and 2nd might and magics) and they had the limited colors.. Black, White and shades of purple!!

Each time they released a M&M the graphics were amazing!! They had hands that looked so real.. and then you go back to play them now and days and it's like wow those are pixelated.. But it was amazing for the time

NES when I was around 4 years old (Mario, Contra... etc). Then around 5yrs my father bought our first computer. Win3.11 FTW!

But yeah, NES, was my start I guess. I think my brothers had contact with an Atari (dunno if 2600 or 5200), but I missed that part :'C. Anyways, some time later I did played around with my cousin's Atari.

So yeh, yeh yeh,

14. I built my fist pc and I beleive it was that Christmas that I used some gift money to buy my first game (neverwinter nights). Might not have been Christmas. Might have been a gift from someone. I don't remember how I got it, just that I did, and it was glorious.

I was pretty young. About six years old when my mother showed me Aveyond, Final Fantasy, nd Pokemon. I more enjoyed watching my mother play games than actually playing them myself. I also liked watching my father play Mario 64. Now I get to watch my friend play it! (Life is AWESOME!)

I have played so many MR games :p

at minimum 5 or 6 of them

But I started playing games at about 4 or 5, the original mario bro's game duck hunt or final fantasy, ff was a relatively new game, within about 2 years of its american release.

I think it was around Four or Five. I would alternate between my cousins NES and tabletop gaming until I got my own Sega Genesis a couple years later.

I started in 3rd grade. First system was the Playstation 1 aka PSX. Unfortunately I don't remember what my first game was, I DO remember though I had 24 games,The Legend of Dragoon was my favorite. Tomb Raider 3, Fighting Force 2, NHL 89, Spec Ops: Stealth Patrol, and Tenchu:Stealth Assassains are a few games I have. Sadly when I had to move, my PS1 and 90% of my games were stored at one of my parent's friend's house. When I finally had a chance to retrieve them, they were all stolen, my system, and 90% of my games. The games I've listed are the only games that weren't stolen, except Tomb Raider 3 and Fighting Force 2 that was stolen.

I started gaming (and don't react with horror) about the age of 4 years.

Mostly I played Gameboy and only Tetris or watched my brother failing at Super Mario XD

There are even family photos of me sitting by the console smiling. Oh, the humanity XD

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
