I don't know exactly, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't starting at 3. :) Grandma has a Super Nintendo with Mario World, A Link to the Past and some others. Then a while later we bought a Playstation and Harvest Moon: Back to Nature. There should be more games like that one...

    I honestly can't remember... hmmm...

I think it was whennnn.... I was about 6, perhaps. The NES has been out for a few years and my father got one for my younger brother and I to play with. I remember Mario, Duck Hunt, and some like, olympic game or something like that with the floorpad.... this old, old floor pad... I know I had that, and then eventually an SNES, but the system I most remember as a child was the N64 when I was 11, because I was so floored with the graphics of the Ocarina of Time and I loved that game to death!

I was playing video games before I could even remember or even had the proper motor skills. I always had a Gameboy and a Nintendo. My very first memory playing a video game was Super Mario Allstars and Super Mario World with my brother, then watching him play Zelda: A Link to the Past. He also played and read FF IV for me. Any kind of story-oriented game, he'd read to me but then I'd end up replaying once I learned to read more complicated words and sentences.

I know exactly when I started gaming because I got a GameBoy with Pokémon Yellow on it for my 6th birthday. Now, I did play a couple games before that, mainly because my dad had a Playstation, but the GameBoy was my first. Been a Pokémon boy ever since and haven't missed out on any of the generations~!:kaojoy:

I believe when I was around 7, my older brother had a PS1. We used to watch him play FFVIII, FFIX, among others.
One day, my mom brought the console to her room and I was allowed to play (finally!!)! I just can't remember if my first was Spyro or Crash Bandicoot! One of those. I know I played both xD

Can't remember exactly but my older cousins had an Atari before I was born and I think I might have played on it around age 3-4. I feel so old/ancient.

Around 6 was when I picked up my first real gaming experience with a Game Gear. It was a year later though when I got a PS1 when I really started getting interested in gaming. My best friend had Crash, (I got Spyro a little after, same with Croc) I had Muppet Racing and Toy Story 2 amongst others, admittedly not as much I could remember between all that though.

First console I got was the Sega genesis when I was 12. Sonic the hedgehog was the first game for it. It was a hand me down from a cousin who bought it for his kids and they couldn't get into it so he got them a SNES.
I also played the on the NES, Tandy, c64, intellivision, colecovision and atari lol (yay for rich cousins). My parents wouldn't buy consoles (super expensive) so I had lots of brick games and those tiger toys (aladdin lion king sonic and X-Men. No mc hammer tho. He was popular in my hood) But I played games since I was 6 on the Apple 2 at my school.
I still hate Oregon trail to this day XD
I started working at 14 and later saved up for a ps2 from blockbuster (showing my age lol), a game gear from the mall and a game boy color from toys r us. first games for that was e.o.e. and way of the samurai on ps2, pokemon red yellow and blue for gb (i couldn't find green) and for game gear it was streets of rage and a bootleg copy of moonwalker.

Very young... I'm not even native english speaker, so imagine me playing some story heavy rpg like Final Fantasy and not knowing mostly anything presented in the story, but somehow I managed to finish VII . :kaoblush:
