ATK/DEF augmenting via MP script

Hey was wondering if someone can make or direct me to a script that would make it so you'd could you use your majicks to increase your attack power or defense like some sort of martial arts aura (chi/ki/what ever you want to call it). and if all possible i want a feature that makes it hurt the player if they use more than they're bodies can handle (possibly determined by level or class or D Z all of the above) i am kinda a coding reject so if someone would be willing to help me out here i would most definitely appreciate it

You need to give more details on what you want if you want someone to write a script, especially since most of what you describe can be done without scripts: just make a state that increases ATK or whatever, and have a skill apply that to the actor itself with the cost you want. And harming the user itself on some skills in addition to harming the enemy is usually done by damage formula, not by script.

well dang then thanks. i mostly wanted a script so that way the user could pick how much mp went into it is that possible with skills too? If not then it's okay I think I'll play more with skills then thanks

No, that needs a script - and that is one of the reasons why I said that you need to give more information. Nowhere in your original post you stated that you want the user to choose the amount of MP to go into the function. Amd that would need a scene addition where the player can select that number as part of the script.


No, as far as I know there is no such script - but exactly because of this you need to give a more detailed description of what you want such a script to do before a scripter can even try to do the work.

well I decided on using skills anyways sense thinking it over what I originally wanted would be too broken and unbalanced anyway and skills could limit it to specific classes to do this.


now how do i mark this as resolved?

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
