Good day, community! I hope that someone can assist me with this endeavor, as I am at a loss. I am attempting, per the title, to create a gathering system using Mog's Time System plugin. I assumed this was possible, but I have no idea how to go about it once I sat down to do it.

I have currently set up an event to mine for copper ore. The first part works fine, but I have no idea, after harvesting the ore vein and it flips to the second page, to write a script call using a conditional branch that could check if X days has passed based on the Day variable set up with Mog's Time System to know to turn off the self switch and, thereby, make the ore vein harvestable again.

I ran into this same issue not too long ago. I have no knowledge of mogs time system or how to use it for ores. So i made my own time system and stores a self variable timer that counted down inside that. The reason why I would go about making your own time system is because every you have more control over when you like the ore or harvestable event timer. I have mine count down every day instead of literally every minute.

I've viewed and briefly used a time system that was given as a tutorial on youtube. I forget by who just now. I was beginning to think it might just be easier to event a time system, as you said, and link events to that.

Would you mind sharing how you did the countdown timer inside a variable? I was wanting to do ores and plants/crops/herbs that restored after X days in game, but I am at a loss how to do that at the moment.

I have the plugin, but opted not to use it, going with Orange Time System instead because it's fundamentally much easier and more transparent to use, IMO.
Having just taken a look at Mog, I noticed a "Day Shift Switch ID", as well as a "Day Switch ID", I am inclined to believe that one of these would be a switch that can be toggled on when the day changes, yes? I don't know spanish, so I can't know for sure (that was one of the reasons I opted not to use it, I didn't care to have to google translate everything every time I wanted to look at something). But if that is in fact what they do, then you could do it via a common event. on day change, run a common event that increments a variable. when that variables reaches a value, respawn all of your harvesting nodes.

That is what I do in my game (again, I use Orange Time System, which outputs EVERYTHING into variables, so doing things at certain times of day, days of the week, after x days pass, etc. is extremely easy to do).
I set every harvestable object to have it's own unique switch starting at Switch ID 4500 and concluding at Switch ID 5000, then in the common event, every time the day counter variable reaches 7, the day counter variable is returned to 0, and every switch from 4500 - 5000 is reset to off, causing everything to respawn.

Do you have a discord? I rather show my process there as its much quicker then trying to explain and show here! I would love to show you how easy it is.

I agree with Zerothedarklord I'm using the orange time system. it's simple with variables.

@Zerothedarklord - So, in the Mog Time System plugin, the two Day switches are for Day [9am-4pm] which tints the games screen to match the lighting of that time of day, and the Day Shift switch, [4am-8pm] so you can have shops operate only during those hours. That said, I just attempted a test run of what you suggested, where when the Day [9am-4pm] switch is on, then call a common event that runs a short list of commands that increases a variable, called Respawn Node Count in my game. I just set it to 1 to respawn after 1 day, because I wanted to speed this test up, and immediately ran into a problem.

So, because this switch is called between those hours, the ore vein continues to respawn over and over until after 4pm, in which it cannot. That, or perhaps it has to do that I have the common event set on parallel? But I don't see how the problem won't replicate itself if I have two common events, one calling the other, and shutting off the prior...? I don't think that would work. So, logically, the same would happen if the variable was set at 3 days, or what have you.

So, yeah....I think what you and @Miss_Misery suggested, custom create my own or look into Orange Time System.

@Miss_Misery - In regards to your question, I do have a Discord.

@Miss_Misery - In regards to your question, I do have a Discord.
I don't know how to help with that, it sounds like those settings make the event repeat endlessly during those hours, that doesn't sound very useful at all. In the Orange time system, it allows you to run an event on the changing of days, IE from 11:59pm -> 12:00am, so that it only runs once.

It is up to you, but I would recommend checking out Orange. If you decide to go this route, feel free to send me an add on discord and I'd be happy to show you how I have it setup. Zerothedarklord#8459

@Zerothedarklord - I've already downloaded Orange Time System plus some of the other plugins that seem to be related to it, like day and night cycle, and I am having such issues trying to get my shop hours to work, street lights at night, and the harvestable resources in game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Of course, add me on discord and let's get to it!

@Sparky89 - I did, thank you!

@Miss_Misery and @Zerothedarklord - A big thank you to both of you for offering me assistance to solve this delimma.

For those who later stumble upon this thread, ultimately, I chose to abandon Moghunter's Time System plugin and switched over to using Orange's Time System and Orange's TimeSystem Events and TimeSystemVariables. Using those three main plugins and common events, @Zerothedarklord was able to help me in setting up respawning gathering nodes.
