I think this would go here, at the moment I am trying to find and figure out features that would fit and which if any scripts I should look for to make use of. Azure Dreams is a monster taming game. Takes place in a town and a tower whose floors are mostly randomized. I do not want a perfect recreation but more along the lines of a re-envisioned version of this game. So new main character, more monsters, more items. Different goals backstory. Any help would be appreciated.
Lets see I would like to have something for the randomized floors. Also a character creation screen. I am pretty sure those things will require either scripts or complicated events. I am also desiring a minimap for inside the dungeon or dungeons not sure if it will be just one giant one like the original game or making multiple ones. I do however intend to have an expansive town that you can improve with the gold and items you collect from the dungeon(/s). Also plan to keep the dating part like from the original game... pretty sure that can mostly be handled by events and variables...
Suggested features would also be welcomed and considered. I have RPG Maker VX Ace which I intend on using for this project.
I am considering adding crafting a feature that was not in the original game, as I think it would add to the project.
