Hello! I know this problem is far from being new, but I couldn't figure this out on my own.
I tried moving my project from VXA to MV (using certain methods), and seemed to encounter no issues. However, my method of conversion requires converting and moving audio files manually, so I did just that. However, I forgot to convert the audio files from MP3 and WAV first, and crashed my game due to the inability of loading the files.
Later, after spending half an hour converting music files, I had everything in both .OGG and .M4A format, and fired up my game. Strangely, I found that my title screen music wouldn't play. After a few seconds, it starting working fine. I tried playing the audio files outside of MV, closing and reopening MV, using some preload plugins(currently turned off), but nothing worked.
Does anyone know how to fix this "Audio Lag" error? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend Audacity.

That Ace to Mv converter only makes dummy files to be replaced, for all audio not in the RTP. I recommend exporting M4A/OGG with a lower, but balanced quality.

This setting sounds about right by my ears.

How big is your music file?

MV needs to completely load the file before it can be played, and that does cause some delays for larger files.
But that is something due to the use of browsers that can't be changed.

And no, in this specific case the preload plugins won't help you - those can be used to force the engine to load files before they're used (which prevents later load lags), but the title screen is the first part and even the preload managers need to load a file before they can continue - and there is nothing before the title that could be used to hide that load time.

You can try to reduce the filesize by recoding it like suggested above, but that has its limits - too much compression will sooner or later reduce the quality.

@mogwai Thank you for the advice, I'll try that with just the title screen music first, and if it works, the rest of the soundtrack.
@Andar The M4A file is 141,956 KB, while the OGG file is only 28,496 KB. Looking at the other music files, this is quite a lot; hundreds of times bigger. I'll go convert them really quick, and report the results.
EDIT: Its the half an hour extended version. Foolish mistake of mine.

Forgive me for double posting, but after getting the shorter version of the song, exporting it, and adding it in the game, the music stared playing instantly. Thank you for your help!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
