Most visual novels have an auto feature that makes the text play by itself; automatically going to the next text box after a certain amount of time has passed. None of the engine's built-in message-handling functions seem to do the job. Does a plugin that does this exist? The "plugin masterlist" isn't working, so I cannot search it; apologies if a plugin like it already exists.

\^ goes to the next message box and \| waits for one second. ( \. waits for 1/4th of a second)

So you could just put those control characters at the end of the message box? But maybe you'd want a plugin to automatically do that for you.

That does do the job but not in a good way, as it is enforced. I wanted to know if there was any way this could be done more efficiently than guessing how long a message would take to read. The function should also be able to be turned on/off automatically by the player, as it skipping by too fast or too slowly would seriously hurt the game. Then, imagine I just can't subscribe to the idea and decide to remove it in the middle of the project, it would be insanity.

I woke up a touch early and was going to draw by the fireplace until it’s a more appropriate noise-making time, but I left my stylus AND my glasses (WHAT?!) upstairs and it’s just too cold to get out of the blanket now.
Made some simple samples with the Time Reversal Mechanic. It would be interesting to make a bigger puzzle where you could dynamically choose which elements are affected by the time reverse. But if there's much more than move routes and waits, it's starts to get too annoying for my brain :D Like even that exploding bomb was such a bother.
