Buddy of mine is playtesting the first part of my game for me and ran into this situation. I didn't see anyone else posting about it, so here it is. He says he used the alt+tab to switch over to some other program to check on a couple things and then came back to my game. Then his character suddenly started walking off to the right without him touching the keyboard. He said he has had to exit the game completely to fix the bug. It's more of an annoyance he said especially if you haven't saved your progress. He also said it has onl happened a couple of times and that he had been switching screens often.
Double checked with him and he said he could everything else (move, access menus) except move LEFT while the character was stuck moving right, He even got into battles and finished them with no problem but when he came back out, he still moved left. Going into Items in the Menu was fine. It did not automatically move the cursor to the right, only the walking animation apparently. So has anyone experienced this? Is it a common bug with a fix?
UPDATE (before I finished this post, so not quite an EDIT): Friend said he tabbed over to a program called Mumble to say goodnight to a friend of his and when he tabbed back to my game, his character started walking to the right again. He's tried tabbing other programs over and over except for Mumble and they seem to have no effect, so he guesses it must be Mumble. But still, is this known, or is there a fix? Maybe some stupid setting he has on Mumble?
Also, as per the Escape part: He tried to escape a battle with a Large Snake (default name/skin from RPG Maker) I did not give it any weird abilities, but I did adjust the treasures it drops and the attributes slightly. My friend tried 3 times in a row to use Escape but it failed all three times and he ended up dying in the battle. I was under the assumption that Escape was supposed to work all the time. "Certain Hit" and "100% Success Rate" in the Skills tab. Is that "Skill" the same one that appears under "Fight" during battle? None of my actors/classes have that skill but it is still there in battle, or is that something different? If it is the same, does the Escape button skill get affected by a player's Luck or an enemy's Luck?
Thanks a lot in advance for all the help, you're making my game come along at one heck of a pace!
