Auto-Tiles in Tiled : Parallax Mapping made easier

Friend bought some tilesets she wanted to use in Tiled, and I created a quick Python script to convert based on the info in this topic:


Should work with files looking like the one in first post ('Outside A2- RPG Maker VX Ace'). Only saw the C# project mentioned here later but who knows maybe this is useful for someone

How do you run this?

You run this in the command line. Usage: python (scriptname).py (Tilename_input).png (Tilename_output).png

So for an example on Mack's tiles: python script.py TileA1.png TileA1_convert.png
If you want to use MV Tilesets open the script in a text editor and change TILE_SIZE=16 to 24
