How to do this?

The player interacts with something. After that a hint is shown automatically after x seconds.

one way that i can think of is to make a variable as a counter in the event...

say you interact with it ...turn a switch on called whatever you want "timer" for example...

then a common event, when timer is on

-wait 60 frames

-if variable (X) = (number of seconds you want here)

then isplay hint in a chat box

-ELSE

-variable (X) +=1     (variable increases by 1 second)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such?
