Autonomous Movement range question

I've put out a demo and got a few complaints about npcs blocking doorways. Is there a way to allow random movement for events
but create a sector or range they can move within. Routes work well for controlled movement, but in taverns or town squares I'd prefer to let them move around randomly.

if they are set to random movements, yet, it can block doorways.

however, there are 3 solutions to this:

1) event it and whenever a event touch it, it goes back (there is a tutorial how to do it)
when an event hits an region, it steps back)

2) use YEP_RegionRestrictions plugin (so you can use regions that block events.

3) use NPC push plugin to push it back out of the way.

2 is a favorite, 3 can be usefull in many stuff (like pushing crates).
both are easy to use.

Thank you for multiple solutions dude. I'll give 2 a look since that feels like it would work the best, but the others sound useful for other things.

some create 1 block in front of the doors, so around it, noone can step on it (more space)
also through small pathways, or in town, so they wont wander elsewhere but in its little area.
which region restrictions is usefull for. among other things to block player movements.

this plugin is most used for parallaxing for maps, but have other purposes as well.

as for pushing NPC, crates, heavy rocks, are usfull, but while rocks and crates
can be evented to push and little script for smoothless, the push to change actor
isn't there, but it is in the plugin otherwise (if you wish to do so).

very low game has to push npc's, and they replicate the effect, but see what fits best.
