this will most likely be a complicated request so sorry if i don't express myself right. As i'm using rpg maker mv3d plugin for my project, i have to configure windows one by one in the right position by map events, it just doesn't cost unnecessary time but as the number of events also makes the fps drop considerably. Despite being a project using plugins of this caliber like mv3d and ultramode7, I'm trying to make it as fluid as possible to run well on even non-powerful computers, the solution I thought was creates an autotile wall with windows already built in, unfortunately there is only one small problem in this solution...1653323479663.png

I have no idea how to make this work!
I checked other autotiles with windows and they seem to translate well to mv3d, only my custom one doesn't seem to work, the ideal would be to use this window (I would post the wall autotile but as it belongs to a paid package I don't think it would be appropriate):

how I would convert this window to an autotile without making it look weird? Any ideas?

the tile you have is no autotile at all, because an autotile is a bit more than just its pixel size.

you should search the official blog for the tutorials on how to create an autotile, but basically what is called an "autotile" is in reality a collection of twenty different quartertiles. the engine uses this collection by selecting four of those quartertiles to construct the required tile from.

and that means that the borders of those quartertiles have to fit to each other - not only to the next quartertile but to any other quartertile that can be paired together.
and that is why there are massive tutorials on how to create those tiles.

I apologize for my lack of knowledge of the meaning of the term,so my problem wouldn't be solved with an autotile if it's for walls that's what you mean (sorry for my difficulty understanding my english is failing me a little now)?

that is not what I meant.

there are many ways to use autotiles, and that includes uses as wall-tiles.

the problem is that your tile is not an autotile, and you would have to modify it massively before it can be used as a wall-autotile.

You would also have to resize it before beginning. At its present size it cannot be made into a 48x48 tile.

I did what you suggested it worked very well the only problem at the moment is the lack of spacing between the windows but I don't know if it is possible to fix this or I should use walls without the window for the spacing .1653338580793.png

You have 16 windows. You could either make every 4th window into a block of wall or every other window.

the problem is that when using a wall cut in half of a window, but i think i'm close to the solution thanks for the help.

Someday, I hope they make a game where 95% of the animation budget went to turning valves and opening door animations, leaving every other animation looking like a CDI zelda cutscene.

And.... I couldn't help myself. I linked my card game Lore and Concepts back to my RPG Maker game and made them take place in the same universe. I think that means I need to get back to work on my RPG Maker Game. There's obviously a story here my brain wants to tell.
