Amazing and thank you
Hi there guys!
First, thanks for the amazing tiles!
I only started using RPG maker a couple of days ago and I have a question on how to actually use them in my games. While trying to use the jungle cave tiles I got this:
How do you make so the water connects as on the example on the first page? I'm sure it's just me being a noob and I will be extremely thankful for any help in getting on the right path
I guess you have to use a tile filled with water only
For things like this you probably need to open your own thread.
Anyway those water tiles are auto-tiles. To paste them the same way as you've copied them you need to hold shift+right click.
If you have any questions feel free to message me
Alse you're using wrong cliff tiles on the left part of the upper lake, they clash with water tiles
Big fan of your work and thanks for all you do. Would it be possible to get the crowns reuploaded? I think their upload links are dead.
I have no idea how Avery did it, but I found a way to do it.
Using a photo editor take the waterfall images and copy them to the space to the right.
Then you need to edit two lines of code in the rpg_core.js file
Line 4541 var waterSurfaceIndex = /*[0, 1, 2]*/[this.animationFrame % 3];
I used the /* */ to comment out that part. The animationframe is change from 4 to 3.
line 4996 var af = this.animationFrame % 3;
Again changing 4 to a 3.
Finally putting it all together. I used Avery's waterfall tile to build the waterfall, then I used the top waterfall tile we just made for the top of the waterfall, go figure; and the bottom waterfall tile on the bottom.
I loved your resources, some of your monsters will be very welcome in my chrono trigger style project - https://imgur.com/Vjyyr0Y
"You may edit these for your own use, but don't post them anywhere without my permission. This includes no asking for edits of them in request boards etc."
The SV cat battler is a must for my current project, but my plan is to make it a Siamese cat.
I was just about to post a thread in requests when I remembered what I had read in the rules, and so I came back real quick to post this and ask for permission to post one of your resources in the requests section for the purpose of hopefully getting the recolor I want for this project.
Huge thanks for the amazing resources, by the way. I was dreading the thought of making a SV battle for Cat, then I found this and all was well with the world lol.
Worst case scenario, I'll have to make the edits myself for personal use, which would be fine... but that's a nightmarish process for someone like me with so little artistic ability.
@FlatDragon, I made an edit really quickly. It's not great, but I hope it'll work for a placeholder for you!
This is perfect! I actually needed something just like this, so thank you!
It's almost perfect, but changing the eye color will be an easy thing - even for me.
You have my thanks!
How exactly would you like to be credited for the recolor? Your display name here on the forums?
EDIT: The additional request here.. I shouldn't have posted that here. Removed and sent via Conversations instead. Sorry, still kinda new here lol.
I have not said anything so far because I don't want to be mean, but I do not appreciate it when people post edits of my resources at all and that includes here.
@Avery It seems I caused some frustration, and for that I apologize.
I will omit the edits of your resources from my project until I have properly gotten permission to use those. As I said before, I could make the edits myself, but I was trying to avoid that due to my lack of ability. Looks like I won't have a choice this time around, ah well.
Note to self: Glad I actually made backups of my old edits as well. xD I have never been great about making frequent backups, but I was smart this time around.
@FlatDragon their terms say edits are fine, just don't repost them.
I love your work, I credited you many times in my project
@Avery Thought I'd let you know that some of the images on your post seem to not be working. I've only noticed it on the 'crowns' section.
But thank you for the awesome resources! They look awesome.
I love it when @Avery has been silent for a while.. it either means she's working on something awesome, or actually living a real person life.
*Wave to you*
@Avery Can we get a re-up on some of the images, they're down.
Hey @Avery , I have a request: do you you can make facesets for the dragons, along with their own sv ally spritesheet thing? it's for a game.
Avery don't take requests. Read first page.
