I love how the Sci-Fi Doors have these neat gates that would work great for puzzles (likve solving this to open that and so on) and most of these can be used to block paths and so on. Now that I think about it...

With these neat matching switches you are now off for the perfect futurisit puzzle! You can have a puzzle where e.g. only one switch can be enabled at once and that enables doors of a certain color.
And if you are not down for sci fi, the first ones would make great garages or work for modern setting as well!
Hahahaha, you thought, after my forest pattern, that tomorrow would be the day, but no, today is Day 23: Winter forest
So, who thought "why did she add all that clutter in that sheet?", well, so you could easily toggle a full functional map through all seasons. Plus you got a whole bunch of additional winter items this way.
And boy, snow is really not my favorite thing to draw, but I did it for you, guys.
In my home country, the 24th is where the main event of christmas happens, and it traditionally is the day an advent calendar ends with (actually, an advent calendar was invented to shorten the time till christmas for the kids).
So, as with today, the event is over and I hope you all had a good time.
My advent was rough, to keep it simple and I am glad I prepared this cause there is no way I could've handled it without that. Let us all hope 2021 is better than 2020.
So, it is now the 24th here, which means Day 24: Giant Dragon
I was really nervous about this, because after all, it is "just a single char". But oof, it took forever.
After having that fairylike MV dragon i was kinda happy to get a regular dragon back in MZ, but... I don't wanna sound picky or anything, but I am not into those extra mean buff dragons.
And I really think we need a full dragon sprite, not just the front. So my first thought was to make a 4-directional sprite of the buff dragon, but nah... and then I saw that tiny tiny dragon on the vehicles. And I loved the design!
The only problem was that is was so tiny!
I upscaled it. And to everyone who is like "Aha, you can upscale pixel art and it looks nice and high resolution!"
Well, sure, if you spend the uncounted hours to reconstruct how that dragon could look like if it was larger. And this one is now even bigger than the boss monster dragon :3
I would say, that one sprite took longer than all the trees for the forest set. And I really hope it was worth it.
So thank you everybody who followed and interacted with my posts over the calendar. I wish I had more time to answer all comments, but life was really not nice to me lately. I read and enjoyed all your comments though!
So, now that we are done, I have some questions:
What is your favourite item in the calendar?
And which themes of the calendar would you like to see revisited and expanded in the future?

Merry Christmas, Avery. We can all agree that we're hoping 2021 is better than 2020. It's hard to choose which is my favorite, I think it almost always comes done to what is most useful for anyone's current project at the time. That dragon is gorgeous. My favorites have to be the 4 seasons of woodland tiles. I also really like the book and pot charset. Let's face it, I like EVERYTHING you do! Thank you again.
It is so hard for me to pick a favorite, but probably all of the outside forest stuff, with the different seasons. This is also what I'd like to see expanded: desert biome, swamp/ruins, etc.., and having ground/path/water/cliff tiles to match all the different versions.
The fact you do this for the community is incredible. You're the Yanfly of tiles for me. Merry Christmas and thank you so much again.
Forests are my favorite. More possibility for my map.
But now I'm using the battlebacks more often cuz I'm making action sequence and need to do a lot of battle test. Different battlebacks kind of give me some relief.
So, Advent is over, but I had something I just could not fit into the calendar without creating a huge mess (if you noticed, the whole event was structured so that that content would be evenly distributed with something different each day, no char after a day with chars and so on), so let's say it is a Christmas Bonus:

Thank you all for your feedback! I had a surprisingly calm and relaxed christmas with the family yesterday and will use the next days to recover a bit from this year. I hope you all can do so as well!

You know my favorite: the pine trees. Very useful to me.
What I wish to see more of, is the sci fi theme. I liked the doors and buttons you did for that.

Sigh gonna have to scrap a big thing for my battle system but that's fine, I can event it all just gonna take more time than I'd like. But that just leaves room for more cosmetic stuff so it's not the worst thing in the world.
Writing a game about my trauma and I want to do a level about struggling with my sexuality. It's a horror game and each level is different with a different monster chase but I have no idea how to go about this level any ideas?
