Hi everyone, I would like information on how to solve a problem.

I'm creating a "Word map" layer, and I wanted instead of using tilesets to set a background image in PNG and resize the map to the size of the image, which I did.
After that, to allow movement, I created an empty tileset and applied it on the map.

The problem is that the background image when the player moves remains fixed.
I remember that in previous versions of Rpg Maker when the default Paralax did not exist, the image followed your movement since you moved on the map in any case.

How can I solve this problem, I need the background image to follow the player, it is fundamental for me.

I leave you an example to make me understand better and at this link the problem in video:

Thank you.

UPDATE:

If I set the horizontal and vertical cycle, it flows but the lower portion is absent without a valid reason.
Also if I use the ship it does not move unlike the protagonist.

if the parallax is bigger than the screensize, do you put the map in the
parallax folder with !mapname or just mapname?

if you dont have a ! in front, it doesn't move at all.

Wait, I'm still studying the program well, so I'm not an expert.
Do I have to rename the parallax background equal to the map name?
yes the background is bigger than the game resolution.

mapname is just a reference, you can call it !forest or !icedungeon or however,
just make sure the ! is in front, without it, it will see it as static, so it will be placed
at 0,0 (x,y) top corner, and the rest is cut off, if you place the ! in front, it will move
till the end of the amount of tiles (48x48). so make sure if you use 25x 14 parallax,
the size is 25 x48 = 1200, width and 672pixel height, or vice versa,

just make sure the dimension are correct and with a ! in front.
