Background keeps changing colors

I started giving this a trial run today and started to really get into it.  Only one problem: the background (where you place all the tiles and events) keeps changing colors on me every time I load the project!  Bear in mind I'm not talking about the Tools-Options-Transparent Color, that would be fine.  But, the actual game I'm trying to make won't stay the way I set it!  Any advice?

As far as it can be determined, that error is only the display in the editor - for some reason the old maker can't store the setting in the registry of a modern windows.


But the transparency works correctly in the game itself.


Unless you have a different problem, then give a screenshot of what changes in the game project (not in the editor)
