Background parallax problems.

Hello everyone, well I'm a real newby at rpg maker and so I need your help. The previous days I had problems about how to add a background image in Rpg Maker. Thanks to thz help from someone here, I could understand where was my problem a'd solved it. However, now I have a new problem. Once I set my background image in place with rpg maker. I tried to build a place over this picture for my game. Howeve, once I start my game from the very south of this place to the north where it was supposed to show my town's picture background very well, the game seems to scroll the background as I move and I can't see my background image as I wish. It was huge buildings. But I can only see the very top of them. Whereas whe' I built my map, I could see them at the exact position I wished them to be.

I don't know that I 100% understand your question, but it seems like you are wanting the background image to be fixed instead of scroll (I am assuming you are using the parallax background feature in the map options).

Add a "!" to the beginning of the file name. So instead of "examplemap.png" it would be "!examplemap.png". The ! fixes the image to the map, and makes it not scroll.

Just tried out and it workd perfectly. Thank you so much for your help. We can do really nice things with Rpg Maker. That's quite impressive.
