I should start off by saying that I am very unfamiliar with the cloud or how it works, so forgive me if I sound uninformed about this. Recently I've learned that I have a free 5GB of cloud storage with Microsoft Onedrive, and I've been using it for other things and it's been nice, but I was wondering how it would work if I stored my game I'm making there. Basically there's folder on my computer that's always synced with my Onedrive storage, so If I stored my game there, and opened it from that folder to work on it, would it save the game correctly? From what I understand the folder will only upload thing that have been modified so I don't believe it will upload the whole game every time I work on it, just the parts I've changed.

Does anyone else here have their game, or games, stored in a file that's constantly in sync with cloud storage? If so how does it work for you, any problems?

The folder for my game and anything I deem necessary for it is stored in dropbox for me. I've never had an issue saving it (unless someone is also doing something then it kinda conflicts but it just saves a "conflicted" copy so I can choose which one I actually wanted) and if my computer ever randomly dies, I can get to it on dropbox and not have lost anything. How dropbox works is basically, when you save your game there, it has uploaded everything to the dropbox cloud thing. Everytime you save, it overwrites the correct files, leaving everything alone. Maybe OneDrive works the same or can be worked the same?

I do know though that I feel much safer about current projects when I have it in dropbox.

Yes, I use my dropbox to keep my project safe (works the same as onedrive since Im using it too). And when you open the game inside your dropbox and upload it, only the files that has been changed will be resynced to your Cloud. Works without any problems for me so far, and I have used my dropbox for my game a long while.

That's what I was thinking it would be like but I wanted to see others opinions on it beforehand so I didn't lose my game as I worked on it.

Thank you both for your replies, they were very helpful.

You can also go the distance and back it up occasionally on a flashdrive or something like every week or so as a fallback plan.

Yeah, I do that already. I just was trying to figure out the cloud thing as an additional and constant backup.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
