I just starting using VX Ace again after a year long hiatus, and the RPG I am making is heavily reliant on using multiple elements for weapons and skills.

My problem is that while testing against an enemy who was immune to fire (0% damage), but neutral to sword (100% damage), the attack did full damage (100% damage) when I was expecting for it to balance out and do 50% damage (keep in mind when I say Sword I mean as an element in addition to its weapon type). I thought of a way to bypass this problem by making a separate element for every combination (Fire Sword, Water Sword, Iron Sword, Silver Sword, Fire Dark Sword, etc etc), but doing this would be hectic and end up with a few hundred elements lol...

So I was wondering if I am not understanding something in the database? Or do I have to alter something in the script editor? Or do I need to use a non-built in script? Any help or referrals are appreciated! Thanks :)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
