I'm looking for a method with which I can set up "destructible barriers" for use in battles.
Something which can be used in skills (possibly through states) to effectively add a second HP bar to a character, which takes damage in their stead until depleted, at which point it vanishes.
Ideally, these could be set up to ignore normal healing (which instead goes to the normal healthbar) and only be replenishable via special skills or items.
Some skills or weapons could also be set with tags to bypass these barriers to some degree, such as 1/1 or 1/4.
