Storm is just like... Same as rain right? How about taking a note from Celianna and making storms go from like top right to bottom left? Looks very realistic with some basic storm related sounds like thunder :D

Any comments on this Vlue?

Wow, this random weather script is awesome, though maybe you should create a greater variety of different effects, then it would be truly great if we could choose more than just the three :3

yes, they have to be numbers. When adding them, if it is like other scripts that use map ID numbers, you can find the map's ID number by opening the map's properties. It will be listed in the top bar of that window next to ID. You usually have to enter all 3 numbers and separate multiple numbers with commas..

I might look into making my own weather effects for this eventually, one day, some time, but for now it's just using the built in weathers, so it's completely Enterbrain's fault storm and rain look similar :p

This script has been rewritten and several bugs have been fixed as well as it is now easier to use weather effects from other systems yourself. No, I still haven't made any of my own custom weather effects! :p

So it looks like this in the script:

#Maps where weather is not shown and bgs is played:

INDOORSOUNDMAPS = [3,4,5,6,8]

Have I done something wrong?

Nope, you haven't done anything wrong! I just did~

I edited the script on the first post to fix that

Is there any way to have the BGS of the weather effect layered over the map's default BGS? Rather than just switching it.

Nope. The game maker is set to only play one bgs at a time. :(

but unfortunately it does not work, it's raining

still in the maps that are marked as "INDOORSOUNDMAPS"

but in the maps marked as "NOWEATHERMAPS" it does not rains...

edit:

I checked your script again on the first side and saw that it stands on the top of the script V.2.0, not V.2.1,

I don't know if that info coud help...

You're right, I missed changing the version number in the script (fixed that now) but that was still the working one. Make sure to fully replace it with the newer version and re-setup your variables if needed. Hopefully it'll work for you this time.

That sounds like a simple yet creative solution, though one question. Do you mean combining them on an external editor and importing them into a maker, or are there some functionalities provided by RGSS3 to do that in game, for other's custom weather effects?

I have used audacity before, and it is pretty good, i just wanted to know if it can be done in the maker, so as to save developers some time, but nonetheless it is a very viable option.
