Excellent question! When you select a map, it shows on the bottom bar, on the right. You'll see something like 054:MAPNAME

Or you can right click on the map and hit map properties, then it'll say Map Properties - ID ### up there.

And when you put the id numbers into the array, always drop the extra zeros at start, so map 054 would just be 54 and 003 would just be 3, etc.

Thank you so much. Also when you are creating how often a type of weather is going to happen, what is the highest number you can do? For example the default number for rain is like 45. How often would it happen then cuz im also using your day/night script as well(WHICH IS AWESOME!).

Sorry for all the questions. Im new at this type of system. I've had the program for a while and still figuring out everything. XD

Pshaw, don't be sorry. Have to ask questions if you need answers, nothing wrong with that.

In this case, it's based on how much bigger it is then everything else. For example:

Sunny = 3, Rain = 2, Storm = 1

is the same as

Sunny = 300, Rain = 200, Storm = 100

They can be as big or as little as you want, but whichever has the highest number will occur more often. (Kinda like ratings for monster attacks)

Hi there I am totally new to using scripts, and i wanted to use your script, my problem is that no matter what i do weather just wont activate.

I inserted your script, nothing, i tried script calls, nothing, i dont know why but your script just wont ativate, i use victors basic/naimtion, and battleres scripts, but yours just wont activte, can it be a compatibility issue? or am i just missing something? i waited 10 mins, not change, i changed the sun setting to 1 and rain to 200 still nothing, what am i missing? (iam using vx ace)

Edit: Your night and day script works perfeclt, so i dont understand why the weather dont want to run.

EDIT: sorted, my mistake, i stoped time somehow, awsome script btw!

Oh, I'd be a horrible teacher probably~
If you really want to learn though, I'd recommend starting with Rubymonk to learn the intricacies of ruby, and then just begin playing around with the default scripts if ACE until you get the hang of things. RMVX ACE comes with quite an extensive help file detailing all of it's modules and functions and how to use them!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
