Basic Level Up Animation / Text Using QABS

Hello, everyone!

This is my first post on the RPG Maker forums, so I hope I don't goof anything up too much. I have been using MV for roughly two weeks now, and I'm really enjoying myself. However, I have a boat load of questions that aren't easily answered via a Google / YouTube search. I'll start with one question for right now:

When my character levels up, I was hoping to have some form of floating text pop up saying "Level Up!" or Level 3!" with an animation to follow. Since I'm not utilizing a turn based combat system, pretty much all of the plugins I've found that could be similar wouldn't be compatible. After doing a bit of research, I'm assuming that I would be required to set up a Common Event(s) to do some checks which would then trigger some awesome no screen stuff. However, I'm still intimidated by events, switches, variables, etc. Would anyone be willing to help me with accomplishing this? I would greatly appreciate it.

Since you are using QABS this will probably require javascript coding to pull off.

Moved to JavaScript Support due to the likely need to use javascript code to do this

You can try using two plugins:
HimeWorks common event level up And
Chaucer pop Up (not exactly these names).

When a character level up, you set a common event to occur. In this common event you can configure the pop up msg above character head with the plugin of Chaucer.
I'n cellphone now, but when i get home i can find for you.
But the two plugins van be easily find in google or here.

Thank you kindly. I'm checking out chaucer's Instant Text plugin as we speak. The other one may be useful as well, but only if I can trigger some kind of instant animation event with it. I'll experiment.
