Hey Vlue,

Awesome script! One thing I did have an issue with is when you right-click at anytime, it errors out. The error is below.

mouse error.png

Maybe the script isn't set up to right-click at all, and that's fine, I just think that people will naturally do that from time to time. Is this an issue you're aware of, or something maybe conflicting with other scripts I'm running? It looks like the script is looking for a specific graphic file.

Really well done script otherwise. Easy to use and configure.

Thanks in advance,

Sindaine

Wow, this script is wonderfully crafted!! Thank you for the script!

Is it okay if I made a little modification for my game like creating new scenes for notebooks and stuff (All credits will still be yours) =]

Thanks and looking forward to your final release on this as well! =D
Wonderfully crafted.. hah, should've seen version one where it was over 1000 lines because I set up each scene and window individually. Whooe was that a mistake.

Anyroad... you can do whatever you want with the script yup! I certainly don't mind. It's nice to see my work in other people's games and see what they can do further with it! (Even if noone's shared yet! Despite my signature! *shifty eyes*)

Shoop doop! I don't know what shoop doop means. But... right clicky calls up the menu, so my guess is you're using some kinda menu script that has a wonky (and by wonky i mean different, not bad. not out to offend) start up procedure that relies on more information then what's found in the call_menu function of Scene_Map. You can disable the right clicky however by commenting out line.. uh.. 313. of my script. with a #.

Thanks for the quick reply. You were exactly right! I was using a menu script. Taking it out fixed that issue. Now I've got another one though...and it was there before the original issue.

I changed the icon to a different number,

(#MOUSE_ICON, set to the index of the icon to use as a cursor

MOUSE_ICON = 122)

but it seems no matter which number I pick, it takes the first (Icon #1) and puts it behind whatever icon I actually choose!? It kinda' superimposes them together. I've taken out all of my scripts this time except the mouse one and it still does it. Any ideas?

Thanks again,

Sindaine

I read that as superimposes it into one MEGA icon. I hope that's alright. Because it sounds that much cooler.

Regardless of that however, yes I do know why! Your first icon actually exists! That first 24*24 piece needs to be blank (or maybe not, but it is in the default iconset, and if it isn't it does form the mega icon) so just relocate that first icon somewhere else.

Ok awesome. Thank you again.

This whole mouse thing sounds really cool, and I don't want to sound like a noob, but... Well, I am a noob....

So... How exactly does one install it?

Thanks in advance!

Not everyone knows everything! You just click on the pastebin link on the first post, copy the script, then paste into the script editor of rpgmaker, below materials and above main (they're categorys near the bottom) and that's it. It doesn't require any more effort on your part besides copying it in.

I'm using this script along with Yami's Battle Symphony. For some odd reason, I cannot select a different enemy other than the default one. No matter where I click, it selects whichever enemy is highlighted as default.

How can I fix this?

Hmm, linky the script and I can make a patch (though thought I did already but looking back apparently not!)

Works fine with just that script (it still uses the default enemy target window). What addons are you using for it?

I don't have that error at all when using these two scripts, perhaps it's another one causing the problem.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
