i have done everything, but after accepting the quest and then killing the monster, it doesn't update on the quest. any information on why this is happening?

Hello, I have a problem and I'm not sure if it's the same as the others on here so sorry if it's already been solved. Anyway I have a quest set up to kill 4 rats, but whenever I kill the 4th one in a group or all separately it crashes and gives me "Game_Interpreter line 1411 NoMethodError. Undefined method complete objective for #<Game_Interpreter0x91f1450>."

Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Looking at that error message, I'd say it's a simple spelling mistake. Check over your objective ids in the troops and in the script and make sure that it looks exactly the same as the one Vlue details on the first page. Also check to see if you spelled the functions correctly (typos happen)

Ugh, turns out it had nothing to do with this script. It was just leftover script calls from a previous quest system I was using... I apologize for the unnecessary post and I thank you for getting back to me so quickly!

Hi alittle New to scripts, and learning them on my own can prove to be a bit difficult, And  This is one of the more well explained scripts that i've 

used, however , I'm still having a little bit of trouble.

I need a bit of help in setting up an Item Quest, I've pretty much gotten to the point where

I can have my Npc give the quest, And set up the Details, Description, objectives and rewards, but I can't

seem to get the quest objective to update, so i can turn in the quest.

Ex: I wanna be able to buy an Elixir from the shop and bring it back to the quest giver and have the quest complete once I give it to them.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

I got a question, What if for example:

Quest giver : you have to kill this mob and must retreat me X item (The quest completer is the quest item not the mob)
But then when you Win the battle against the monster the monster will ask you not to kill him


IF you kill Him then the X item the quest giver wants get full Fill


But if you dont you get another item and when you go to the quest Guy he will only handle you half of the exp for bringing the wrong trophy for the monster


how do i Achive that? i already have made 2 quests with this system and is really amazing im trying to change all my quests to this system but now I got this quest
that i really dont know how to make with this System this is what I have WITHOUT this System how you guys would set it to make it work with this script?

I know i must do it with scripts and so on to make it work, just to make sure u guys understand my question:

I want to know How to make that you only need to do 1 of the 2 Objectives and be able to get the reward acording to the objective I did Should I make both of them Hidden?

#Edit: This quest works perfectly without this system, but how to make it work in this new quest system?

well i got the quests working but i cannot figure out how to complete the quest i understand i need to  ask_turnin:)questid) but i have no idea where or what to do to get this to work. thx for any help.

Hello! I know im a bit late but for some reason when i start up my game it says "Quest System+:261:in 'accepted?': undefined method '[ ]' for nil:NilClass, NoMethodError" how can i fix this? :kaoeh:

Awesome script, but I have some problems. I am a beginner in these kind of stuff so forgive me if this is a stupid question;

Firstly, how do I set a quest without the progression stuff, for example I want to create a quest where you need to find somebody but when I do that it shows it like ("Find that guy" 0/3) and I really can't resolve that problem,
Second and lastly, is there a way to change the specific font and the colour used in the quest log, I'm trying to make a dark themed game and it really would be awesome if I can change the colour and font.

Thank you in advance, sorry for the noob questions.

I am not an expert but I think you need to put the ask_turnin:)questid) command to the event, if you go to the 3rd tab in the events window you can see the script thing under Advanced. And if you put ask_turnin:)questid) there it should work whenever you activate that event. You can check the guide the author has provided.

How do you get Rewards does system/script do that?

How do you make Quest Disappear ? after completion and rewards given?

I have a chest that gives me a short sword, but i don't know how to get it to read when i get the sword and i need to know how to complete the quest because when i try to turn it in it doesn't show that i got the sword. Screenshots taken would also help.

I don't understand how to complete the quest.
For example, The quest needs a potion.
I have the potion but the quest doesn't detect it.
How to do it?
It really stressed me out even checking the Compliation.
(I'm a month new to RPG Maker)

ok so i love this script, but i came across a problem, when i go to get multiple items for the quest i get this wierd this on it where some of the rewards cut out:

Is there a way to use a script call to hide the quest log window, for a cut scene or something?
