This is a good script though I'm wondering will this

effect full screen if you say place - Window_Resize.r(width, height)

at the end of the script? or would we have to add the one for full screen after it?

It doesn't affect full screen, full screen will look the same despite what .r option you use.

Couldn't you just hit F1 and toggle fullscreen option?

OP!? OP!!!? Crazy lingo. Could just say my name

There was technically nothing for him to fix, just had to show him how to do it right!

I will not collaborate and listen! Actually... I might listen, probably won't collaborate though.

I made the script approximately 225% more awesome by adding three more functions, one to make fullscreen windowed, and two to toggle fullscreen on and off.

Check the commented portion of the script for the details.

I might be a little grumpy at the moment so if any of this offends anyone, I'm either sorry or glad I did my job right.

Bananas.
Just browsing through your scripts and saw this...

I love the reference to Vanilla Ice.

There is no way to call this before a main scene? Maybe to resize the Title screen?

Just place the script call in the script below everything.

I hope Vlue doesn't mind but I've found an easy way to disable alt-enter while your rpg maker game is running.

To disable alt-enter add the lines:

RegHotKey=Win32API.new('user32','RegisterHotKey','IIII','I')

RegHotKey.call(0,1,1,13)

And re-enable alt-enter use:

UnregHotKey=Win32API.new('user32','UnregisterHotKey','II','I')
UnregHotKey.call(0,1)

It's not perfect. It will disable alt-enter for all windows on your desktop while active i.e. if your click on a file in file explorer and press alt-enter the file properties won't show.

How it works is it creates a global hotkey for alt-enter. A global hotkey is a hotkey that activates even when the calling program's window isn't in focus. As the hotkey doesn't have a function attached to it, it just doesn't do anything. (In case anyone asks adding a function to the hotkey is way beyond what you can do with Win32API).

Excellent script!

I like the Window.Resize.f option in your script. But I would like to keep the graphics this way in full screen mode.

So the graphics would scale to monitor size in full screen mode.

So say this is not possible? Could this be done with a script?

Doesn't full screen stretch to fit as is anyways? (When you press alt+enter)

The self-righteous indignation of family when you expect them to pay back money you've leant to them never ceases to amaze me.
Gamedev for relaxing? yes or no?
I've been having a rough couple of months and as such let down some friends of mine in the RPG Maker community. I still need time to get back to my normal self, but it's nice to be back, to read articles, and to design again (albeit at a slow pace). Hope to give updates on Kid Crescent soon.
Friendly reminder that you don't have to be able to do absolutely everything. It's okay to scale back features or assets if things are too much - especially if you're the only one working on the game! And you can always add things in later. <3
My new cutscene system makes it so much easier to add parallel stuff happening in the background, I can easily fill the whole screen with action.
