Battle Animation Question and Possible Plugin Request.

Hello everyone!

I hope all is well. I had a previous question that was answered by you awesome people so I figured I'd come to you with another. There is a part of my battle system that I am trying to wrap my head around animating and wondered if anyone could provide some insight or a plugin if it was necessary.

For regular attacks my characters cant combo a basic attack up to 4 hits. Each hit would take up a certain resource while replenishing another. (Take up Action Points to chain attacks and build Skill Points.) I would accomplish the first part using a Chain Command plugin so I guess what I am looking for would be a way to animate the character attacks? A Chain Command animation plugin maybe?

Basically and example of what I'm trying have happen is

1. Player chooses attack.
2. First chain command pops up and the character does a straight slash with his sword
3. Second command pops up and then the character does an upward slash with his sword.

I would actually like my characters to do animated combos as the player inputs chain commands. Something similar to this video.


is it possible? If so how would I go about it?

You can do this using my qte plugin and action sequences.
Begin the attack do the first part set up the first qte, if successful trigger the next part.
Repeat as many times necessary.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
