I needed a dark jungle background so i edited some of the stock ones that came with MV. For now i only have one to share as the only needs to be reworked but figured someone might be able to get use out of this one. Unfortunately i had to combine both the foreground and background so they would both be edited equally. For my needs it's fine but others may not be able to use that. I did cut them back apart but I feel like i did a pretty poor job of it. I will upload the all together and the separate parts, maybe someone can fix the foreground a bit more.
Anyway, free to use in whatever you want. Edit too.
Original is owned by Kadokawa. First, the two parts together. The idea behind this is the story is taking place on a planet with no sun. So the only real light comes from bio-luminescence. Hence why that river is glowing so bright.
And the foreground and background separate. As you can see, where the wood extends past the edge of the bridge it's back to the original color, and i have no idea how to fix that. In some match ups it actually looks nice this way but in others, not so much.
Again, feel free to use as you please. Some time soon i will edit the post with a couple others that i need to darken still. Snow scape, forest and meadow, and then there is a fan edit for a snowy forest that i need to double check on if its allowed to edit his edit, if that is the case, i will add that one too.
Here is the second background. Hopefully it's not too dark.
Didn't cut this one apart but hopefully if anyone does decide to use it, that wont be an issue.
Edited to add another semi dark one.
Lava cave.
Few themed enemy recolors.
Poison
This beetle is owned by Social_Justice_Djinn I just added a lil more purple so it would my purple poison map better. Can see the original Here
Fire
And just for giggles i smashed together with to create To me it looks neat so I'm going to use it. Figured i would share.
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
