Battle Events for Skill used?

I'm looking for a way to make battle events that fire when a skill is used (either by player or the enemy).

However, it has to be specific PER TROOP, so a player using the same skill against different troops needs to fire different events depending on the troop, even though its the same skill.

What would be a good way to achieve that? (preferably that doesnt require ridiculous amounts of common events and such)

Thanks!!

use troop events conditioned on a switch for that skill, and have that skill switched as part of the skills damage formula.

Just remember to switch it off after each event to enable it's triggering the next time the skill is used (in this or in a different troop)

yes - it might not be appearant at first because a lot of people are looking for MV equivalents and have the Ace-topic of the same in mind, so they don't explain what their code is used for.

But if there is no onw who asked for the code for switches, then that topic is where you can ask how to turn a switch inside the damage formula.

On my journey of character rework: I had this character, she was meant to be just a princess that joins your party. And at long term she was just uninteresting... So I tweaked her to be a rebel agaisn't the royalty before meeting up with the party.
