In testing the game I was making, I run into these three constantly.

1: Actors are randomly performing basic attacks and skills twice in a row. I made sure there are no additional repeats worked into the skills and there are no action times parameters in any armors or weapons. Bizarrely enough, I even had a couple skills that were supposed to be performed 3 or 4 times, but still did twice every time.

2: Certain skills aren't saving changes. I've even gone back to check and the changes I've made are still there on the skill page, they just don't change at all ingame.

3: Game crashing after won battles with the message "Script 'Battlemanager' line 330: NoMethod Error occured undefined method 'name' for nil:Nilclass" ...I have no friggin clue what this means.

I have no idea how to fix these issues and was wondering if I could get some tips or help?

What battle scripts have you installed?

1) Some of the data is stored inside the savefiles. So for some changes, you need to start a new game for the changes to take effect, loading an older savefile will also load the old values from before the change

2) the first point is especially true for changing scripts. If you install a script (or removbe one), in 80% of all cases that will make the older savefiles incompatible (due to them still storing data for the engine without the script). Using an old savefile after installing a new script is the most common mistake resulting in those "undefined / NIL-Class" errors: the data is undefined because it wasn't in the older savefile, you'll need to start a new game to solve that.

I've never even made a savefile yet and I've been getting these issues.

then you have installed scripts that are incompatible to each other and/or not configured them correctly.

It is a fact than any "undefined" and "nil-class" errors can only happen due to script changes.
If you want help on that, please follow the link "how to use a script" in my signature, install the backtracer and next time you get one such error, give a screenshot of the backtracer's console output.
You might want to use that opportunity to check the other options for mistakes you might have done with scripts as well.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
