Pre-note: I am heavily using Yanfly's plugins!

As the title implies, there is a job class in my game that allows you to use battle items. You are able to craft them and then use them in battle if you are an alchemist.

the problem: when battling, you have the item option. I can set the battle items to be battle only but they will show up in the item slot along with other items not made by the alchemist (i.e. potions, recovery items), is there a way to separate the items from the
battle items? Like make a new item option and have it only those battle items.

I've been experimenting and came across with Yanfly's Skill Cost Items plugin which seems to do the trick, the issue being that its a skill and will not show the remainder of the items being used to pay to use the skill. it only shows the amount needed to use it. Is there a way to show the remainder if I take this route?

If this issue seems to be more than its worth, then I can settle with this plugin. I assume that the skill would be greyed out if the player runs out of that item. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you!

You can use the ItemRequirements plugin to do this. Basically, set the requirement to belonging to the alchemist class, and it shouldn't allow you to use it unless you are that class.

That would work yes! I will implement that when I get home. But how will those items at that point be separate to the other regular items that others can use?
