I wouldn't even try, but go directly to playtest with a special map designed for battletests.
The problem is that the database battletest takes shortcuts to launch the game faster for that test.
And if you're using plugins then some of those plugins will fail due to these shortcuts - that has always been the case in every maker, because the more the combat sequence is changed the less compatible the battletest is.
And when the plugins fail, most of the data gained by those battletests is useless, requiring you to go full game anyway.
