Hey there! I'm here to ask for help again.
So, jumping straight to the point:
I'm trying to differentiate my battles' appearance from that of others in VXAce, so I've edited Yanfly's Battle Engine and Sykval's gauges so they work well together, only.. it doesn't look right with just the regular faces.
That gave me an idea: why not use the battler portraits instead, then? As there will be only two battle members throughout the game, the initial battle status per actor is bigger, so it should fit perfectly if done right.
Only.. I'm not completely sure how I'd go about doing so.
I figured I'd just remove the draw_actor_face and replace it with a bitmap image of the portrait for the battler (or use def draw_actor_face and have it load a bitmap image instead) or something of the sort, though I'm not completely sure.
Anyone mind helping me out here?
It'd be much appreciated!
