Does anyone know a good way to enlarge character sprites to be used as face images?
I'm planning on using individual sprites from the SV battlers as face images. I know how to place them, but I'm trying to enlarge them without them looking too blurry as they're a little too small for what I'm trying to do. Is there any way that I could go about doing this?

Which engine are you using? MV or MZ?

the "blur" is the result of that enlarging. You can try a different mathematic formula (good image program allow you to select the formula used for resizing), but unless the resize is limited to full multiples (200%, 300%, 400%) any resize will either be blurred or distorted.

The only way to get a non-blurred, non-multiple resize is to hire an artist to redraw the picture.

My computer broke yesterday, so no RPG maker for at least a week until I can get it repaired. :(
Just wanted to share how my game won 1st place in a game jam for itch.io. Everyone else used Unreal, Unity, GMS2, Godot, etc but I used RPG Maker 2003 :guffaw: It just shows that you can create a good game and it doesn't matter which engine you use
Working on cutscenes~

if your game is the first (or ONLY) in a series and still has a colon in its title, you are a bad person and I hate you...... jk.
