Hello!

I am a new user of RPG Maker. I am having some issues with some maps. The first screen shot I provided is a beach I made, in game, as it is supposed to appear. However, when the player leaves the map then comes back, it appears as it does in the second screen shot. I'm assuming this problem has something to do with the fact that the next map the beach links to has a different tile set. However moving back and forth between the two doesn't seen to be effecting the second map. Another thing to note is I used transparent tiles to allow walking in the shallow end of the water on the parallax background. I'm not sure if this is causing the problem or what?

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Thanks!

How are you setting up the tilesets for the map? Are they listed in map properties properly for each map?

Have you used full tilesheets?

There has been some weird behaviour on the maps in the past if people have used incomplete tilesheets - if you do, please fill up with transparent tiles to the full size of 768x768 pixel for the upper layer (B-E) sheets and follow the specifications of the A#-sheets exactly.

Another possibility is a wrong setup in the tileset-database itself, like placing a sheet in the wrong slots or having star passability where it doesn't belong or so on.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
