I suppose most people haven't played many jRPGs where you only have a single player in your party (the main character) - and no one else. But have you ever played any jRPGs like this, and if so, were any of them memorable? Which ones?
I've played Drakengard 2 on the PS2. You don't necessarily have just "one" character in the party but there's only one player on the battlefield against waves of enemies with puzzles and dungeons happening all at once. You can switch out characters mid-battle though.
I haven't played Drakengard 3, but you play as one character throughout the entire game but you'll have "followers" (I guess if that's what you wanna call them) fighting alongside you, but you can't control them.
They're both really good though. Dragons and stuffs with all the good good.
I would say Triforce of The Gods (A Link to The past) * I'm even streaming it right now However, streaming the US version not because of the dialogue but because of people reading the text "yea...I do wait a few seconds"
Breath of the Wild if we're talking most recent 1 player rpgs.
