Better action sequence plugin?

I cant go on using Yanfly's battle sequences Plug-in. By no means is it a bad plug-in, in fact it accomplishes alot that I want to get done, however I'm coming from using Victor Engine Animated Battlers, where I had complete control over what I wanted my characters to do, and how I wanted them to act with any given command, to not even being able to make a simple projectile skill. Now I'm very good at making animations, and pulling off VERY visually impressive skills, but I feel really limited when using Yanfly's battle sequences. I dont like that I'm limited to choosing only a set of poses, and having the game choose the weapon motion for me. That irritates me. I dont like that all action sequences have barely any differences and always show the character doing the same swing motion. What if I want to make my character jump in the air, and do a front flip, while spinning his or her sword? What if I want my character to shoot a projectile, I made in the animations tab, towards the enemy? I cant do these simple things using this script. I'ts bad enough that the animations tab is limiting as it is. I'm sorry if I'm ranting but I feel very passionate about visually impressive and diverse skills. so this is what I propose.​

A Plug-in that allows you to use custom weapons for your characters. back on VX ACE, Victors Animated Battlers script allowed the character to use the Icons as weapons. Given the fact that the Icons are now smaller than the battle characters, I would prefer to make my own weapons graphics, and use them as the weapon for the characters. ​

A Plug-in that can give you complete control over your battle action sequences. As I stated above if I want to make a skill, I should be able to choose the poses for the characters that I want individually, not just a set of poses but each individual pose for different motions, and I should be able to also use animations for projectiles and or any other kind of necessary graphical issues. even using a png file located in the pictures folder can help.  ​

I realize that RPG maker MV has only been out for a short while now, so I cant expect these Plug-ins to be made right from the beginning, but I haven't heard anything about victor coming back, so I'm assuming hes gone for good, and if he is then I need something to take his scripts place for the new program. I hope that I'm not seeming too pushy or demanding, but I just cant work with Yanfly's action sequences any more. maybe someone could show me that I'm nit using his scripts to these plug-ins to its fullest potential, but until that happens I don't think I have a choice but to request for something better. ​




also this is my first post.......like ever, so I apologize if I didn't add anything visually I'm not used to asking for help online.

Victor has plans to make MV plugins.  He may be working on a port already, of intend to do one.

l know the feeling, l was using Theo Sideview Battle System and it was so much better

I just gave up on full animation and now l am just using standstill attacks instead until Victor or someone else take up on this big project.

Really now, I had seen that he'd taken down his WordPress last I checked. but your a moderator, so you'd know better than I would.

Guess I'll wait and focus on other aspects of my project until his scripts come. thanks shaz

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
