If that's the case, I should try to find another bgm to use for the intro in my game. Thank you for your help, although I am unsure how to fix that.
There are no loop points in the specified music file.Try the full version. It's possible you cut out something key. And, incidentally, you *can* change the loop points in a .ogg (not every file loops back to the start), and you can make one not loop, so you might have accidentally done something like that.
Hmm, that is a good idea ... check in the map settings. Perhaps you are auto-starting '(none)' as BGM and stopping the auto-play event BGM? Kind of a long-shot but ...The other thing to check for is to see if you have a set BGM (none) command somewhere. Though that would only be the issue if this is happening no matter what music you have in the game.
That's normal. RPG Maker does not properly unlock the music or sound effect files every time, so you are forced to close the program first.Edit: I think there is something off in the ogg version of the original though. RPGMAker refused to delete the file once I was done sound testing it, it would just do nothing when I hit delete. I tried to manually delete it, and the OS wouldn't let me, saying it was in use by RPGMaker, but I had stopped playing the sound. I had to close out of RPGMaker, then delete the file with the OS to remove it from my project. Very weird.
