Youtube playlist of all songs:

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1mR9H_FvAW7neUzqyiAEp94Z4k63J8NF

All links points to individual RAR files, which contains the m4a, ogg and mp3 of respective songs. MV users should be aware the BGM listing only show up if there are 2 versions of the same song in the bgm folder: namely an ogg and either mp3 or m4a. make sure you have both files of the same song in the bgm folder if you wish to use them.

Composed, performed and recorded by me, Koldsack, on a Yamaha PSR MIDI keyboard and DTX digital drums.

Legal Baldurdash: so long as you do not claim these songs as your own, use them freely and as you will, commercial or non-commercial.

EDIT: added Autumn Rain + In The Eye of The Storm + Mediafire alt download links.

EDIT: added Youtube Playlist + In The Eye of The Storm v2 + Age of Ravens.

EDIT: Corrected incorrect Mediafire links. Thanks to Matombo for pointing them out.

EDIT: added Metropolis + Age of Ravens v2 (important fix).

EDIT: added Minotaur Emperor + Minotaur Emperor v2.

EDIT: added Between Two Worlds + Haruhi's Carousel (proof that one need not use guitars to do Ska) + Arranged Songs in Alphabetical Order.

EDIT: removed Haruhi's Carousel and replaced it with v2 (important fix) + added Haruhi's Carousel v3 + New Tokyo.

EDIT: added Haruhi's Carousel (Looped Edit) + Blood Hunt.

EDIT: added Across The Ocean's End v2 (small fix) + Dark Priestess, The (Full Length Version).

Quality material. It's so hard to get new, original music when you have no talent to make it yourself like me. Thanks a bunch for this, definitely going to follow this thread for any new stuff.

I saw these yesterday but totally forgot to say anything. lol

Great tracks, all of them. I really mean it.

Now, I'm also quite impressed with the drums, in all songs, you managed to mix some different styles there.

So here's the thing, you said you use a Digital Drum Kit, right? Well, if that's also a name for an Electronic Drum Kit ('cause for some reason I can't distinguish both names), then congrats on your drumming skills! I thought I was the only one here who had one of these, but dude, you're really good! :D

So, if you're playing them for real, as good as the songs sound, maybe you could show us a more dark and deep battle theme with some double bass pedal mix?

Think on this like a little challenge. :p

I can't wait to hear more from you, keep up the good work!

Yep, it's the real thing. DTX700. I should have got a Roland perhaps, the half-sensor cymbals and hi-hat is extremely annoying. it keeps moving around when i do hi-hat rides and made the post-production process a real pain. I'm not that good to be honest lol, alot of the stuff you heard were really quantized by 30-semiquaver, hence it sounds more "accurate" than it actually is. i actually suck at double bass as the "In The Eye of the Storm" showed.

thank you for the compliment though, and thank you everyone for the thank yous :D

Music isn't engine specific, I can move this thread to General Resources if you'd like.

Sure thing, it would benefit those other than MV users. Thank you :)

The DTX700 is a good kit, at least from what I heard and tested. I have a Roland TD-11K, it's also very good, but I still feel some things a little bit off like you said. The Hi-hat isn't really accurate and I didn't get a double bass pedal, since it was quite expensive and the drum kit itself was already extremely expensive. Like, 3 times the price of my best guitar... lol

Anyway, I enjoyed "In The Eye of the Storm", the double bass doesn't sound bat at all.

I suck at double bass as well, still haven't practiced enough, specially since my double bass setup is by using the hi-hat pedal to simulate it, so it has some delay, which makes it harder not to lose the rhythm. :p

Also, if you're looking for any upgrades, I suggest you save up and get a Roland TD-15K or better, since it's the starter product of Roland's professional E-Drum Kits. It's expensive, a lot actually, but they're worth it! (Yamaha is also a good choice btw)

But yeah, keep it up! You're doing a great job! :D

Hi folks, anyone whom have downloaded Haruhi's Carousel, please re-download it. Quantizer messed up the notes for the trumpet at the chorus (was out of key!).

v1's entry removed, link updated to reflect v2.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
