    There is actually no game content added but two major changes and another major change is in progress.

    New quest plugin

    I was using Gamus’s guest plugin and I was okay with it. I felt it could be better but there was nothing better. When I encountered news that Yanfly released his own quest plugin, my mind was already set on changing.

    Changing the quest plugin midway into the game meant I had to go through every plugin command lines and alter them. But it has been done. I am now able to add small tips to quest logs as well as several improvements.

    This, of course, means a new start is required.



    Matured ship supply consumption system

    The original ship supply consumption system was a series of common events linked together without any plugin. I didn’t use a plugin because I didn’t know one I needed existed.

    While I was working on my other project, I came across a plugin I could use to improve the system. But implementing it would require a restart. Then since I was already implementing a new quest plugin, this was a no-brainer.



    New icons (in progress)

    I didn’t really intended to change the icons but I came across an inexpensive but quality pack which really suited my needs. I am making some on my own as well. On 0.3, you will see some changes on icons. More will be replaced later on.

    All in all, those two major changes meant I decided to move on from 0.2 and version reaches 0.3.

    Minor changes are noted as below.

    1. Maco’s party no longer disbands upon turning in a quest. Now, when you turn in more than one quests, you won’t missing out friendship increase.

    2. Rest skill (Guard) now gifts the user 20% in evasion, helping actors to survive until a heal comes in.

    As per my internal roadmap, version 0.3.x will focus on custom menu as well as cosmetic stuff.

    1. The first custom menu background has been added. It’s viewable on load and option menu. The others are just placeholders at the moment.

    2. A side quest “The wild side of wool” has been added to the wool shop in Alca.

    3. Chapter 6 guild mission “To Ugi isle!” has been added.

    4. Shops now have their own background images. Most will be generic images but few will be unique like Marat’s weapon shop in Eton. This feature unfortunately conflicts with buy-only traders. Therefore, I’ve disabled it and there is no more trading posts in settlements. Instead, they will act like pawn shops, buying every junk you have. I’ve made it so that you can only sell stuff at the pawn shops. (Prefer to the spoiler screenshots.)

    5. And more new icons to replace old ones.

    As per my internal roadmap, version 0.3.x will focus on custom menu as well as cosmetic stuff.

    1. Maco’s potential romantic interest has been given a total remake. He has been given a name first of all. His name is Pierre Gignac, the second son of the Gignac (Dolle) family. He has been given a new CG face and bust image. He will become available as a non-guild party member at one point. His class will be lumberjack (Axe user).

    2. General menu and quest backgrounds have been finalized. (Prefer to the spoiler screenshots)

    3. Some more progression into Ugi mine quest line.

    1. A side quest “Where the hell is my ore?!” added to Jalfti smith guild.

    2. Custom background image for items is done.

    3. Alca scholar’s guild has its head master now who has a story of her own in another game I am making. But it’s an adult game, so I won’t mention it here.

    Patch note version 0.0.1 remake

    I’ve decided to remake the game. The major reason for this is that I’ve started making my own tilesets with my own sprites.

    Plot and game features will remain the same. I simply need to recreate the game world and sprites with my own tileset.

    Another aspect that will change is that World map will be gone instead players will be required to travel zones to reach destinations which means instant travel carriages might come useful.

    Random encounters will also be phased out in favor of on map contact encounters.

    As a result, version number has gone down to 0.0.1 and I’ve added “remake” at the end.

    1. This remake version adds remodeled Loche and Eton and a road zone between them. There is no game content to be played at this point.

    My goal before reaching 0.1 is reconstruction of the first nation, Etonia while implementing quests and NPCs. The Guild will be reconstructed slowly due to the fact that I have to recreate quite a bit of characters who require their own SV battler images.

    1. More polish to everything, more interior to enter, more NPCs to interact. There is still no actual game play element yet.

    In progress of rebuilding everything. This takes time.

    1. Characters now have “traits” skills category which will have unusable skills but they will act like an extended bio. View them and read its descriptions.

    2. Neighboring town Ryin is open. (But not completed)

    This remake process is taking a lot of time. I am currently stuck at re-doing some of the guild members. I have nothing to show for in this path because most progresses are internal at this point.

    The game is still pretty much a demo although it now has a tiny bit of content now.

    1. Basic trading system is in although it’s not functional since there are only three settlements in close proximity.

    2. Very basic first side quest is added to Margaret’s shop, and yes her shop is finally open.

    3. Small updates to here & there. Shops are now actually selling things now and so on. And a wilderness zone (Road to the temple of affection) is open, but not completed.

    Some decent progress in this patch. Restart required.
    This patch adds about 20 minutes of content.

    1. Food system has been implemented. Basically, it’s game over if food value goes down to zero. Various food items will provide different bonuses. Food itself is easy enough to acquire. Many wild animals drop raw meat which can be consumed (with negative effects). Vendors sell basic rations with no bonus. Then there are some delicacies with bonuses.

    2. Sion, the guild secretary has been added back finally. But she is dramatically different in this remake; she is now an elderly woman. Her addition means the story quest can progress beyond what’s been possible.

    3. Jack has also been added to the guild.

    4. Margaret’s CG reworked. More NPCs and more houses are open as well as Eton mage shop with a unique NPC.

    5. An unfinished zone is added “Road to Dolle”. Now, many zones I will be adding will remain unfinished because it’s not easy to finish up a large zones easily. Many zones, especially outfield zones, will be very large (100x100 and larger).

    One of primary reasons I went ahead with remaking this game was that I wanted to have different building styles for different regions.

    With default RTP style or RPG maker style in general, this wasn’t really possible.

    Now, with this patch, Ezona is open which is considered “Western Etonia”. Look below for a side by side comparison.

    1. Pierre is added back. (Another possible companion) He’s in Dolle.

    2. The guild has a chef now. She’s a unique NPC.

    3. This patch sees five new zones added: Dolle, Ezona, Ezona pass, road to Ezona pass, and road to Ezona. These new zones are missing NPCs and monsters.

    4. Status page now has proper design. (Used to be just black background.)

    This patch is about adding a little polish to what has been added. NPCs added and opened more interiors.

    1. Gwynn (name changed, the wind mage) & Kesper added back to the guild. I still need to bring back Gilbert, Paranta, and Leona.

    2. Ezona pass zone now has bandits.

    3. Sysneca (Renamed, used to be Garrito) added back to Ezona.

    4. Two guild quests added. The quests won’t exactly be the same as before because this remake has more possibilities and materials for quests.

    Respawn points are added. You can now set your respawn points at inn in some cities. This feature is now necessary due to the game world being far large. Currently available respawn points are Eton (the guild) and Ezona inn.

    1. Tobas and its outfield zone (that connects it to Ezona) are added. (NPCs yet to be added.)

    2. Two more guild quests added; Herb collector & Defeat Lord Boar. As mentioned in the previous patch note, the quests won’t be the same since this remake offers far more possibilities.
