Bi-Weekly Battler, Runic Hunter!

The Runic Hunters, unlike summoners, are trained only to banish beasts back to the ceaseless dimensional tide between worlds from whence they are summoned.  Only the most skilled and focused of followers within Mt. Zurat are even considered to become a Runic Hunter, and even then, many do not survive their first encounter with a dread beast they are meant to banish.  Those that do survive, however, are privy to secrets and magics held in the deepest, darkest crypts of Mt. Zurat.

The Bounty Hunters guild, upon learning of being removed from the running on a very generous bid to destroy Gluttony, has decided to dispatch one of its best anyway; to teach the summoners of Mt. Zurat a lesson for stiffing their "prestigious" guild.

Turns out the Bounty Hunters guild straight up lined the pockets of those running the poll this time!

1. Bounty Hunter - The best of the best, to Shayde, its not about the money, but the hunt.  He has seemingly collected bounties on everything that has a head to cut off, including humans, beasts, monsters, daemons, and even kings.  Wielding a variety of weapons, this Hunter will come with a variant a hand crossbow and a pistol to go along with his ensorceled fiery blade.

2. Bounty Hunter - Shayde bought out this spot, too bad Varyiss!

3. Bounty Hunter - The worst and most incompetent bounty hunter that the guild has ever had the displeasure of employing, Felix is the top of the heap when it comes to letting marks escape, bungling the best laid plans, and generally being a nuisance to anyone who has any idea of what they are doing.  If you pick him, he is totally going to die fighting Gluttony(or anyone really, he may not even have a weapon!), you don't want that... do you?

"After dispatching Gluttony, I may make a trip to meet the high lords of the Bounty Hunters Guild.  To MURDER THEM."

I voted for  Bungling Idiot Felix, and the community hasn't disappointed me. I am REALLY curious on how it will look like.

As for the Runic hunter, well it's a fantastic concept! Runes everywhere, energy everywhere, a mask for mystery, nice clothes and most important, it's a WOMAN character that can kick your ass into a game!

I liked that.

I think that Felix was supposed to be a joke choice and a few people didn't realize it and voted for him, while the rest of us voted for him because we're jerks and want to see how will Michael draw himself out of this.

I completely agree with Felsenstern, this is such a great design, I'd love to see her as an actor in my game.

Why are people even voting for Felix? Although, I have to admit that, even though I voted for Shayde, I'm curios about Felix. Maybe I'll add him as a joke boss in my game. You know, that incompetent enemy in a game, that can never beat the player, but keeps trying again and again and again, until he finally just gives up?

I really am not well versed in making sprites, so we'd have to get someone else to do it most likely.  I'd love to make it happen for you guys though, we'll see.

I am pretty happy with what I got, what I meant was that I will display her more in a dialog screen than as an enemy battler.

New to the site, used to be a regular at RPG2knet.com back in the day and giving the VXAce a trial run.  So...I have no idea what's going on in this thread!  Is this just a really good community artist who pits "battlers" against each other and the victor gets to be drawn into an enemy graphic?

Well Neither Urban Rivals admins had a "Miss Nova" on thought, but  since there was the choice, the community trolled the hell out of the event (1 female card as the prettiest of the Year)

I used parts of your storyline, Gluttony and the Runic Hunter in the last Malifaux Campaing I am holding. Your creations are fitting into Malifaux really great and noone of my players have an idea what RPG-Maker is or knows this site ;-).
