A band of Pygmy warriors, led by a Witchdoctor, attacked Felix and Shayde, dropping from the trees to surround them!
Felix pulled out his dual pistols with flair, spinning them on his fingers as he did; they promptly ended up in the dirt.
Shayde, not quite as clumsy, threw a fan of daggers at the leader.

The daggers punched through the ensorceled tiki mask, felling the Witchdoctor in a heartbeat. With her twin blades, Shayde made quick work of the rest of their attackers. Felix fired off a few shots, missing all of them.
Shayde was quick to realize the Flesheaters were indeed in a bloody territorial war with the Pygmys. She wasn't pleased with the fact she would have to navigate between the warring sides to reach her mark. They pressed on, but the light was fading fast; they both knew attempting to cut through the jungle in the darkness of night would likely get them both killed. Shayde decided that a rocky cavern entrance would provide a defensible position if they were attacked, so they made camp.
Felix took first watch, and Shayde was out like a light. It wasn't long before a stirring in the blackness of the cavern behind them startled Felix to his feet. Fumbling his pistols out, he saw something emerge from the shadows...
1. Bird-Devourer Spider - A spider as large as a small canine, with giant sawtooth mandibles capable of slicing through flesh and bone with ease, and nerve toxin to fell even the largest of beasts.
2. Zombified Flesh Eater Tribal - Infused with dark magicks, this Flesh Eater now fights for his Pygmy masters; they even gave him a mask.
3. Leaper - A hunched, muscular ape-like beast, covered in bone protrusions so thick they can turn aside a blade. It is unknown if this is a naturally occurring species within the jungle, or if they were somehow engineered through dark magick.
