Aw man. I bought RPG Maker XP (even though I already have it in Steam), simply because of something that tempted me. In the cart, it says RPG Maker XP 1.0.


Like, very clear, One dot Zero.


So I thought HEY... maybe this is the older version that doesn't have the message glitch?


(A glitch present in the latest RPG Maker XP that doesn't allow you to type any messages on the fourth line of the dialogue unless you use the bulk message option)


But nope. What I got is version 1.05, the latest one with the glitch


Oh well. It was only $5, and I'm that happy about having gotten 2000 and 2003 that I'll buy extra copies of the other makers to support a little bit ^.^

Tried the "birthday" code on MV earlier, and it worked, but I wasn't able to buy anything yet. Now that I am later in the day, tried it again just to find out MV is no longer included in the bundle? What changed?

Radical! I kept missing all the store sales, been meaning to get RPG Maker 2003 and the Modern Tiles pack!


Some day I should get VX so I can finish my VX projects I started with the demo...I miss those projects...

@Power Master Yes it must have been glitch. You can see the first post of this thread has not been edited (it would say so), yet states MV is excluded.


@Luxray_Gaming Ace would be about $12 with this sale. However, you have a whole topic asking that question, use the suggestions there, this isn't the place for that discussion.

I finally own VX!  I'd been waiting but it kept being left out of sales.  I now own every RPG Maker Degica offers.  The collector in me says I should start working on the console titles now. . . .

And I finally have VX and XP, making me the proud owner of every RPG Maker sold on the RMW store, and I'm only one short if 2000 also counts. 


But yay! I can finally use VX-but-not-Ace resources! \o/ And mess around with XP, since there are still people out there who prefer it... it'd be handy to know if I ever work with someone who only uses XP or something. Also, hooray for pilfering XP resources!

Personally, I'm counting 2k.  Also counting GG Maker even though it isn't a RM engine. Making tiles is my job so I should be prepared to make art for any of them, right?  It's a good reason to own all of them and I'm not going overboard, right? ^_^;


Hurray for pilfering resources!  XP's resources are awesome and extensive.
