Looks awesome! So does the chatbox only store up to 4 messages or can it be configured to visibly hold more? (I realize it would likely take up more of the screen but it would be neat to have as a nice little config)

Great work man! its not possible to resize the hud window ?(the actor one), and how for hiding the actor face ?


if my actor have no faceset up the space in the hud is only empty

Its a scrollable window, you can pass the cursor over it and turn the mouse wheel to see all the contents,however, just updated the script with this new feature.

Just updated the plugin, theres a new parameter for that now.

Check again, there was a bug that i just fixed when not using actor face and disabling HP/MP/TP, so the window height is recalculated.

Just fixed a bug: the minimap was losing the fog of war when opening the menu.


Also changed the way to load event names, it now uses the event note instead of the comment (check OP for reference).

The plugin has familiar limitation - i can't specify an actor for the messages bubbles. If i switched a characters due formation set up, the messages still appears strict to the party members order, and i'm losing the one for whom the message calling was intended.


Also it has this bug:

About the formation issue, I added the option to use the event or actor name instead of the ID, so it should display the bubble above the one you really want. It's still possible to use the event or actor ID if you want.


About the positioning bug, I'm afraid I can't fix this one due to the fact that the bubble is drawn inside the character sprite, so it follows him around. Which means that when there's a tile displayed above the events/characters, the bubble will also be behind that tile, as does the events/characters.

A few more fixes regarding player size on the mini map and its refresh. Also fixed a sound buzzer when pressing "Ok" button.

Fixed a bug regarding save game not working when using name plates


Fixed a bug related to enabling/disabling fog of war


Fixed the minimap positioning inside its window


Adjusted padding and font size of elements


Adjusted size of the minimap


Changed default position of elements on screen


Removed the options to enable/disable names (see below)


Known issues:


1. Fog of war can't be save, I could not find a performatic way to store it for reloading, since its not possible to parse a JSON with a bitmap (cyclic reference)


2. Disabling fog of war before opening a menu will cause it to be lost because no fog of war was stored to be reloaded.


3. Names and bubbles (names ARE bubbles) are still shown after disabling the hud, reloading many events names would cause a big lag.

Hey. Excellent plugin! As the fog of war apply to the card rather than to the minimap?

Sorry, I didn't understand... what do you mean by "the card"? The game map itself?


The fog of war is aplied only at the minimap, this plugin only controls the user interface.

I just made this one, not sure if it's the best way of doing it, still testing... it seems to affect the game performance a little. :(


And it has some limitations, like: it's not possible to save the fog of war, which means: if the player save the game in a map that has the fog of war, when he load the game the fog of war will be reset like if he never explored the map.


For now it's part of a map plugin that I made and is key to my project, maybe in the future I post it here if no one else make a better one.

Unbelievable! I also have to each occurrence of fog was on the map is unopened. Hopefully in the near future to see this option in the plugin! Maybe we should do through the Fog of War titles as water or land, then it will not be picky?
