Hi all, need a bit of help here as I have come quite unstuck.
Basically happily doing my usual thing of checking how my animations look after production, I do this for each animation for an attack so I fill all the details in a sort of "demo" setting. So that I can easily and efficiently tweak all the details later.
So all my PCs have 95% hit and 5% eva
So do all my NPC battlers
The skill I'm using is pretty generic, does damage that's it. Like a lot of other attacks. However, this one skill I made is ALWAYS evaded. Hands down, never clicks.
I tested the battlers other attacks to see if I had accidently messed something up, nope all the other attacks work.
I'm using Yanfly's battle scripts but everything else is working fine just this attack.
I also tested if an attack that has exactly the same properties only lesser damage would miss. It didn't here is all the images I think would be relevant to any diagnostic.
Oddly enough when I copied the penetrate skill and used that instead it actually connected. Then I changed the damage modifyer and hasn't worked since.
Thrust is similar attack to penetrate, only it does less damage.

Battler setup, pretty standard
skills is evaded by all PCs at all times
battler is hit by same skill in effect with fewer damage
