I legit want to buy this game as soon as possible yo. I thought that you could only make games using pixel art in the rpg engines, so this really surprised me. I will be looking forwards to further updates on your project and wish you the best.

But his face has a similar problem as stasio's, it should be more at a 45° angle, much like his body is,
as it almost looks like he's missing an eye, whenever he's walking sideways.
It probably would look better if his face was closer to that of his still standing frame,
as his body is basically almost at the same angle as in his side walk animation.

Hey everyone! It has been a while since I last posted anything about the game progress. So here’s an update~!
I have been working hard on the game cutscenes and dialogue. I have completed three major cutscenes out of 10, which is very good considering how asset heavy the scenes are. I am about 1/3 done with the ENDING cutscene which is the God of all cutscenes in the game in terms of intensity and assets. Seriously my wrist and forearm muscles are begging for salvation at this point!
I don’t want to reveal much about the story yet, so visual updates will continue to be sparse as I continue to work on scenes and dialogue input. I am so happy to see the game start to come together with the addition of the cutscenes. Instead of it being a number of scattered features and battles, Black Crystals is finally starting to come together and appear as a full fledged game!

I think I will want portraits and battle sprites to be 2D and stick to pixel art for overworld not 100%sure but pretty sure its easier to make pixel art for overworld sprites, events and maps and stuff.
