Bluetooth/Hotspot Local Link Between Games

Good day! I'm new to the forums, and I need a little help from professionals.


I'm currently working on a school project in which players from different PCs will have a live, head-to-head race in finishing math-related puzzles.


I was wondering if it is possible to have the games linked through a local connection such as via bluetooth or hotspot. A feature that is found in most GameBoy Emulators.


I've searched the Plugin lists but I couldn't really find anything. I'm not much of a coding genius so I can't just conjure up plugins.


Any amount of help will be much appreciated. Thanks!

Just because it is found in a lot of professional games, that doesn't mean that it's easy to program - and a connection between several players is not easy to handle for the average hobby game developer.


You won't find a plugin for that at the moment, and I don't know if it will ever be programmed as it would require a good programmer with good knowledge on networking protocols to work on such a plugin for several months...


Yes, it is possible - but I also consider it unlikely unless someone really puts money to the task, because programmers rarely spend months on something for free.

Could I ask for some alternatives instead? Like shared-screen or split-screen multiplayer?
